Hello everyone
Hoping someone can help me again with a look up for a marriage. I'm assuming it is Belfast as my Grandmother and her sister were born there, hence the link. John McLachlan and wife Christiana, both 50, both listed born in Ireland on the 1851 census for Old Monkland, Coatbridge, Lanarkshire. Children on the 1851 census are Robert 22. Jane 18. John 14. and Helen 15. All are listed as having been born in Ireland. If Robert was their first born then they would have been married circa 1829, both aged approx 28, which I feel is quite old, so possible married prior to 1829. John is my GGGGrandfather!
