Any connections to John Budden who married Rachel Andrews in 1837 ?
If so I would like to hear from you.

Hi bolton,

A good site for Dorset Info. is the Online Parish Clerk Site: http://www.dorset-opc.com/

It's full of transcripts of census records, church registers and directories.

Click on "search this site" and either:

a) enter a place name or person name, and click on "search"

e.g.
"haskell" finds 52 entries
"steel" finds 47 entries

or b) enter a combination of names, in the box below, click on "Find ALL words", and click "Search"

e.g.
"haskell cranborne" finds 9 entries,
"haskell woodlands" finds 4 entries
etc.

There is a mass of info. here, but I don't know any of "your" christian names, so have a look, and see if you recognise anybody !

Another useful site might be : http://www.pbenyon.plus.com/W_Dorset/Index.html

Good luck !

Chris,
My  Dinah Kerly was a school mistress in Ashmore, marr in 1749 to John Newhook. Dinah was the daughter of Silas Kerly, and I have details of his will. Over the years I have gathered a far amount of Kerly/Kerley data.
My Haskells are from Fontmell Magna, and again I have quite a lot of data, but I cannot see a Daniel  in the pile if info I have about the Dorset Haskells. Have you been in touch with the Haskell Family Society??

Yes I went to the Haskell reunion on the 19th June this year. But did not find anyone related to Daniel Haskell.
So still searching.
But I have lots of Kerley's and Steel/Still folks in my family tree I will see if I have your Silas Kerley...
 Back soon Bye Chris.
