Sort of OT but is there a census this year?
« on: Monday 06 March 06 18:00 GMT (UK) »

I was just looking through this years calendar and I came across the following note.

May 16, 2006  Census Day Canada.

I remember filling out census forms in 2001 - but do we really have another census this year? I thought they were just every 10 years?

Thanks

Hi KarenM

You are correct the last census did have a long and short form. As I was a census worker.  I had noticed notices in the local shops advertising for census workers. But after doing it last time don;t think I am going to do it again.

Cheers

I think that that would be fun, but I am sure alot of people gave you a hard time.

Do you think you could write a little message on the form so that in 100 years if any of your family were to look at the original they could see it  :D   Wouldn't that be neat!
