Had a look on the 1901 for you there are three Thomas Rogers born in 1892 in Wales one is in the cottage homes in pontypridd, I have traced Amos and Ann to 20 Railway Terrace, Tir Phil, Merthyr tydfil It looks as if she had been married before as there are 5 children with the name Prosser and a young son aged 2 by the name of David Rogers, now back to the cottage homes, with Thomas 9 yrs there is an entry for David 12yrs and a younger brother Albert 5 this may tie in, they keep all the records for the homes at the Glamorgan Records office in Cardiff ( there is a web site)

My Grandmother was in the Industrial School in Aberdare, which is linked with the cottage homes at pontypridd, I have been trying to find the reason why she and her younger siblings were placed there, most of the children came from very poor familys or orphans, unfortunatley the records in Cardiff show that my family were placed there in 1899 and unknown was put as the reason, hope you have more luck. try here for more info

hope this helps

Hi Tamebry

Have William on 1881 monmouth with Amos and
his sister, but nothing after. Would most appreciate
if you could find out if he is in glamorgan or other.
Especially the period 1891. If this is William on
the 1901 in roath and it says father in law, may be
Ann Rogers, Amos wife is there with him. Do yo think?
