I have John Evans born 19/5/1814 in llangunnor,wife Mary Harries born 19/8/1828 in llangunnor,I cannot find when they married?
Who is her parents?
Who are his parents?
And 1841 census (i have 1851/61/71/81/91)

Amanda heres a pretty good possible in 1841 in Tyr Yeartt? Llangunnor David Evans/55/Farmer/Y.John Evans/25/Farmer/Y.Margaret Evans/20/Y.Thomas Evans/12/Y.Cannot read the farm name properly but it looks the same Farm as John is living in 1851.Best Wishes Welsh Lady

Do you know where they were born?
and who is the mother??

the other part of my looking is
Mary Harries, her father was thomas harries b 1791 in 1851 census living with wife mary b 1811 st ishmael,siblings thomas b 1831 and sarah 1841.
any help with the 1841 census for this family?
they lived on the farm llsttywrgi,llangunnor.

Hi Amanda

The 1841 census did not give exact place of birth info. 

As Welsh Lady has transcribed, you find either Y= Yes, born in county or N= No, not born in county.

In addition, the ages of people over 20 were rounded down to the nearest 5 years, so a 23 year old would appear to be 20 etc.

Relationships were not stated, which can make is awkward (in Wales in particular!) when the servants and lodgers shared the same name as the Head.
