How does one find Coroners Reports?
« on: Sunday 12 March 06 00:53 GMT (UK) »
I am researching for a friend whose grandfather died in 1919 in Fearn. We are keen to find the results of a Coroner's Report on this death.
Can anyone help with ideas of where to look for this please?
Regards, Coline.

You don't.  In Scotland, coroners do not exist and inquests are not held.

Is there an RCE attached to the death certificate? What was the cause of death?
Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.
