I'm afraid that I couldn't find George at all.

I have all the family, living in Lancashire on the 1871 census if you would like  the details, just let me know. Also, if you would like folio numbers etc, for the 1891 census I will keep my print outs for a couple of weeks.

The george street address was the same as they were at in 1881 as well.

On the 1891 census, did you notice a John Furmston, as listed on the 1871 entry?
Wife Ada, posibley Leeds area.
I missed him off my original lookup request, sorry.

Hello Again David.

I have just had a look for your John Furmston,
but I can't find him in 1891. I have tried every
variation of the name I can think of. If you have any ideas, I will happily try them.

I have, however found these births, and unfortunately, a death, registered in Bramley.
Leeds.

I think this is your John,but can't understand why I can't find him on the census, nor Ada.

There are a few more births for Furmstons,
registered in Pontefract, born after 1891. If you would like details, just let me know.
I am afraid I do not live near a major library, I can only give you details ie volumes, pages etc.

It would appear John and his brother George were either missed or away from the area in the 1891 census. I will have to work on the one.
The death in 1898 is the correct John.
