Obitury Look up please in Canada.

Hi All,
I am hoping to get the Obitury of my 2xGreat Uncle Alvah Brown, I don't know if anyone can help but I will give the details just in case.

Alvah Brown Died 27th June 1961 He was Buried 30th June 1961 in Greenwood Cemetery Owen Sound He was aged 83. I know he lived in that Area, Any help or advice would be Fantastic.

Hi Tracey,

You could contact the library in Owen Sound.  They have the newspapers on microfilm and since you have a date of death, I'm sure they would look it up for you.  They may charge you, or it could be free, each library seems to have their own policy.
