SINGLETON - St Helier

Hi,

I am looking for any information on the following family:

Alfred SINGLETON b.abt. 1836 (possibly in Somerset)
Mary Ann SINGLETON b. abt. 1837, St Heliers, Jersey
Marie Louise SINGLETON b. 1864 St. Heliers.

A marriage date and place for the couple, plus any further children they may have had would be a great help, and I would especially like to locate Alfred on the 1851 census because he does not seem to be in the Somerset census for that year. (By 1861 he is married and in St Heliers.)

You really are an absolute star - thank you! (is the age for the 1861 meant to be 26 though? As he is 36 in the 71...?)

Do you think it looks likely that this Alfred is the same as the one I was searching for with relation to the Winsham family over on the Somerset board? Looking on the free index part of the 1837online version of the 1861 there arent' any other Alfred Singletons  of the right age other than the Jersey one, and it says he came from Somerset... (Sorry, picking your brains again, but a second opinion on these things is always helpful!)
