Lookup request for 1861 census Norfolk for Robert & Amelia RUDLING.
The 1871 entry is at St George's Ward Yarmouth and gave their ages as 44 & 43 years, together with Herbert W Shephard, age 5 yrs, born Shoreditch, adopted.
May not be in Norfolk because this couple got married in St Leonard's Shoreditch on 31 October 1853.

(Only my 3rd posting - hope I'm doing everything right!). :D

No replies received - so will search in Shoreditch, London.

Any chance of finding RUDLING in a trades directory?    He was a cordwainer/shoemaker.
Never realised this name could be transcribed in so many different ways - Rualing, Ruhling, Reiling et al....
