Welcome to rootschat Kerry and a belated welcome to you, Ann.   :)

Please don't put your email addresses on the public boards - they will be removed by a moderator.  Instead, once you have made 3 posts you will be able to use the personal message side of rootschat.  Another couple of comments on here will do.

Christine

Ann - yes would love to chat direct - I am a descended from his first wife's children. Trying to help my Aunt piece together what happened to those siblings. Looks like we'll have to chat via this board a couple more times til we can access each other direct. I'm currently reading his military service record from Boer War & WW1 - do you have that?

Ann - just thought this makes you my First Cousin once removed! I love finding all this new family - I only recently started on this ancestry journey

There is no contact on my side with the Cronins either, Peter's daughter Eleanor, youngest of his first wife's children, is my paternal grandma. We've heard the family story but never gotten to the root to know if it was true, Eleanor didn't mention or talk about it. Hopefully we can email direct.
