Hi Valda,

Many thanks for the detailed e-mail just received.  There is too much to absorb at the moment and I have to go out soon, but I will try and register it all and reply to you properly tomorrow.  It is all very much appreciated.

Hi Valda,

Many, many thanks for all that new information, it certainly puts some flesh on the bones as it were.  Although I am descended from Albion Richard (s/o Henry and Elizabeth), it is still very interesting to know about Sarah CHASE and her family.  I did try to research them but as I could not find Sarah on the 1861 census, I assumed that she had died or remarried.  It was also good to know about her parents and her elder sister Hannah.

I find Family History absolutely fascinating, but as I do not travel anymore I miss out on a lot of the excitement.   Ancestry.com is out of my reach and my brain does not work so well as it used to these days !!  So it is more difficult to know how to find all these records.

Once again, my sincere thanks for all your hard work on my behalf.  It was certainly well worth waiting for.

Hi Pam

You haven't updated your profile so we don't know where in the world you are but have you tried using Ancestry Library edition for free at your local library. A lot of them have it nowadays. The only thing missing are the family trees people have uploaded, but there's a lot more on there besides those.

Hi Dawn,

Thank you for that information, I had no idea that Ancestry.com was available  at local libraries.  I doubt if it is at Clifton, so may have to go into Nottingham which is more difficult as I normally use a mobility scooter, but I will see what is available.  Many thanks
