Rather strange - no sign of a wife in 1881 but William is said to be married, however in 1871 he is married with wife Margaret again. Think widow must be a mistake in 1891, maybe Margaret left him and came back ??? :-\ Haven't time to check further but will do that for you Sun and post all census details.

Here he is with Margaret in 1871 - it does look like the same lady who is with him 1901. I have been unable to find her in 1881 or 91 ???
