census look-up pls 1871 BENTLEY William

Help needed pls to find a William Henry Bentley b Bootle abt 1870, mar 1893 to Alice Maude Milne b 1874 Hume, Manchester.  I believe he was a timber worker and that his parents were also William Bentley and Elizabeth Ann.  I have come to a dead end so any help gratefully appreciated.

Are you sure that William Henry was born in Bootle?
I have tried all census 1871 1881 1nd 1891, and come up with no one born there circa 1870.

I will have another go later though.
