Aston registration district is in Warwickshire, and covers the following parishes:

Aston, Aston Manor, Bordesley, Castle Bromwich (1837-1911), Curdworth (1837-1911), Deritend, Duddeston cum Nechells, Erdington, Little Bromwich, Minworth (1837-1911), Saltley and Washwood, Sutton Coldfield (1837-1911), Water Orton (1837-1911), Wishaw (1837-1911), Witton.

Presumably it's Winifred's home area.

I can't find a birth registration for Hector at the moment - according to the 1901 census, he was born in London, but on both the 1891 and 1901 censuses, his parents were living in Cumberland, which seems a little odd.  There are a couple of possible marriages for William and Elizabeth on FreeBMD, but I can't make a definite match with any of the Elizabeths born c1861 in Bubwith, so you really need Hector's birth certificate for her maiden name.

Do you need census details for William Edgar?

Hi

The 6d area covers Aston Manor, Deritend, Duddenston, Erdinton and Sutton Coldfield in the West Midlands to 1925.

The images for Births Marriages & Deaths are searchable by image at

http://freebmd.rootsweb.com/

for you to find a birth for him, if he was born in England or Wales
