Dear Maryderry

I would very much appreciate more information on the Lefevre/Silo connection or point me in the right direction to look up these details. I have a French prayer book with Lucy Lefevre's name in it and dated 1861 and I know she died in 1943.  Regards Holywood

Hi,
There are two will abstracts in PRONI (see link above) for Jean Baptiste Gustave Lefevre and Lucy Lefevre.

Hi,
Look at the 1911 census for Ireland (again link above). There are three sisters and a brother all sharing a house in Belfast. They may be the family which Maryderry found.

Hi Holywood!!  I started this post - my mother is a born Silo and Carlo was her great uncle.  I have information connecting everyone and actually just came back from a trip to UK to see places where the ancestors all lived (I live in Canada).  Send me an email if you would like to correspond.

I would love to have as much info as possible. Carlo Gallee Silo would be my great grandfather. I have been trying to find out about the hotel he owned/ran in Belfast. I think it was called The George. Would be very interested to know about your mother's connection as my father always talked about family who left Ireland for Canada and were something to do with the Pacific Railways. Look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Hollywood, just joined roots.   My great grandfather was a  brother of Carlo, both being sons of Modesto Silo.   Just wondered if you got any further information.

Hi, My great grandfather was Henry, brother of Carlo,George,  James, Lucia,Modesto,  Andrew, Mary Elizabeth (Eliza), John. His father was Modesto.  I am so excited that someone has found Modesto's birthplace in Italy. I have been looking for this for years.   Last year I went to Italy as I thought it might have been Frosinone.   Do you know who found the birthplace of Modesto and How.
Thanks for any information.
