James (Jim) Lawson

I am trying to find anyone who knows James Lawson who migrated to Australia C1950. Jim was  a builder and worked on the construction of the Warragamba Dam,in New South Wales. He and his best friend Englishman Lionel Baird, bought a motorbyke & travelled to Queensland,wher Jim played soccer in Toowoomba. They then traveled to Tasmania,,,where they worked on the construction of the Comalco Aluminium plant at Bell Bay, about half an hour from Launceston.
Does anyone know  Jim ? Is he still alive?
