Hello Nellie and anyone else searching for the same information,

This is so unreal, we are all long-lost (unknown!) cousins, as James is also my grandfather.  I am the daughter of his 4th child/2nd daughter Margaret, known as Peggy, who was born in Edinburgh in 1922. 

It seems we might all have different parts of the family history unknown to us all, so if you would like to either PM on this site or contact me on ginnyo.vo at gmail.com then we can start and see who knows what!!

This is an amazing find for me, as my brother and I are in the process of looking at the Irish side of things  :) and one thing led to another with just a random search for James McMillan.
