Marriage lookup Connecticut 1896 Sanders

Hi,

Bit of a long shot but I wonder whether anyone could possibly look up the following marriage

I believe 1896 (says in 1900 census been married for 4 years)

Gertrude Sanders born 1874 Birmingham UK emigrated in 1891
to someone with the surname Freeman

Marriage I believe took place in New London Connecticut - again surmising from the 1900 census for that place.
