« on: Friday 08 September 06 12:54 BST (UK) »
Hi all,
have had a huge success after 2 years.

Edmund a boot/shoemaker of Cheltenham.

Applied for free passage to Aust. 12/2/1839. Application No. 3980. Embarkation No. 2462.

Sailed on the Lysander - Liverpool to Adelaide, arrived 6/7/1839.

Record shows on free passage application Edmund Moss 29 yrs born c 1809/10, wife 30 yrs born c 1808/9, daughter 3.5 yrs born c 1835, son 1.5 yrs born c 1837.

I would appreciate any info that connects Edmund to Cheltenham & his trade or if anyone is able  to solve the whole mystery & save me the trouble that would be better still.

If only it was that easy
Regards to All
