1813 baptism lookup - Swansea
« on: Tuesday 19 September 06 02:31 BST (UK) »
Hi
I'm looking for the baptism of Martha Isaac.

Martha Isaac married William Davies in Swansea in 1846 and her father was Richard Isaac (a collier).

Martha was still living with her mother Margaret b 1785 on the 1841 census but her father Richard was not with them.

I don't know if she had any siblings.

regards
Patricia

Hi Borneo

Thanks for the info.

I too have seen that marriage on the IGI but it would make Margaret b 1785 only 13 when she married and people did certainly get married at a younger age than now.

I know the ages of the 1841 census are rounded up/down, so it could possibly be the Margaret I'm after.  So far its the only choice.

Regards
Patricia
