Peter Dobbin (Dobbins) b1886 ......Dublin

Looking for any information on Peter, particularly his birth details/siblings etc.
Ultimately looking to establish who his parents were.

He married a Margaret Cullen in about 1918 and they had four sons.
They lived at the rear of 14 Warrington Place between about 1918 and 1929 when Margaret died.  Peter later moved to Fenian St.

hi jard,just came across your post re dobbin family name,
I was taking photos in mount jerome cemetery today and was
reviewing them while going through the posts on rootschat
when I noticed one of the older gravestones had the name dobbin on it.
although the first names that I can see are James and Alice(not sure what other names you might be looking for)I wondered if they might be connected
with your research at some stage.the photo just shows the top of the stone 'peeking' over another gravestone,however if you are interested I will be there again this week and could try to get a full pic' of the stone.

Thank you for your kind offer.
I have been trying to trace Peter  and any other Dobbins' from Dublin, for a long time, but with little luck.
Anything you can find is very useful to me.
I know very little about Peter Dobbins and his wife Margaret Cullen (my grandparents) and absolutely nothing about my great grandparents, not even names.
I would be thankful for any names, dates, or any info that you see on headstones. If I can gather a list of names, then by process of elimination, maybe I can find a link.
I eagerly look forward to anything you discover.

hi John,I should be going to mount jerome towards the end of the
week and will take a photo of the full stone as it is on the main path leading to the rest of the cemetery.there may be more names and dates on there along with a plot number which means a simple request for the details
from the cemetery books.

hi John, I have been to mount jerome cemetery and have taken a picture of the headstone for you.I don't see any of the details you've given so far.
there are about four names including a widowed daughter with marriage
name .first death 1910 and last one 1970.address for first one and
connection to north wales for last one.as you say it might help you to rule out this Dobbin family.and I have a promise of any other details on the cemetery book to be posted to me next week.if you would still like to see the photo you could p.m. me with your email addy' and I will send them to you.
