can you tell me how look up 1901 census and how to get the infor
on 1881 i did that but woud'nt let me through on 1901 because iwould have to pay how do i do that

on the 1881 census i could'nt find what you found william c edwards age 4 born city of london you said i could access this info on lds site  that is the mornons am i doing something wrong

Hello, the 1901 census is free up to a point. You can put a name seach in ~ no middle name facility though & you have to know how the surname was spelt so if it is spelt wrong you will have to put all the possible variations you can think of! 
If you find a highly likely entry this is the part when you have to pay to find out his address who he was living with etc.

There is a census decoder available (I haven't used it though): http://www.censusdecoder.com/

With regards to the 1881 Census you can view this via the Latter Day Saints website: http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Search/frameset_search.asp

Or you can ask for a Census look up in the Census look up board on Rootschat. If you can say what you are looking for I can do that search for you if you would like
