hi meg

can you tell me how look up 1901 census and how to get the infor
on 1881 i did that but woud'nt let me through on 1901 because iwould have to pay how do i do that

on the 1881 census i could'nt find what you found william c edwards age 4 born city of london you said i could access this info on lds site  that is the mornons am i doing something wrong

thanks meg hope you can help because iv.e got other poeple to find as well

Hello, the 1901 census is free up to a point. You can put a name seach in ~ no middle name facility though & you have to know how the surname was spelt so if it is spelt wrong you will have to put all the possible variations you can think of!  >:(
If you find a highly likely entry this is the part when you have to pay to find out his address who he was living with etc.

There is a census decoder available (I haven't used it though): http://www.censusdecoder.com/

With regards to the 1881 Census you can view this via the Latter Day Saints website: http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Search/frameset_search.asp

Or you can ask for a Census look up in the Census look up board on Rootschat. If you can say what you are looking for I can do that search for you if you would like  ;D
