Thank you for placing this post. It is very informative.
Patrick Allen has been in touch. He sent me a photo of Beryl and William Trafford Newton Allen on a visit to Clachaig just before she died. I told him about the Tutbury Book of Remembrance.
Centenary of Battle of the Somme makes you remember Lt. William Trafford Newton and all the others.

My son has posted on RootsChat.com as ' a.j.manners'. I read his post and sent it to him. It is  a complete mystery why it should reach you. His post can be found by searching for an ancestor - William Posnette Manners.
