I have very little to go on ...........but a marriage certificate.

What a pity we don't know if they survived past the 1851 census, they were quite young so if you happen to come across them later in the 1881 census which you can search for yourself at www.familysearch.org then post the details on here and with that sort of evidence and possible whereabouts, it might help give an idea where to look for them between times.

As far as the Anna/Hannah is concerned, I would say that they are probably the same person, the marriage that Mike has found and I think you have to bear in mind that an enumerator wrote the census entries down and maybe used his best guess at the spelling, sometimes our ancestors themselves couldn't read, write or spell to give or check the details themselves either, it didn't help did it?

Thankyou again everyone.........what a pleasant suprise to see the marriage of John and Hannah.
I guess Susannah is either dead or in service somewhere in 1841. Will have a hunt around to-day for her and her brother William.

It was also pleasing to determine  that the whole family has moved to Yorkshire.
I wonder if that is where they originally came from, as Outram appears an awful lot around that area.

Cheers

Greeting's Again Kozmos

Did you know that a Street in Leicester was named "Outram Street."?
Which was in the Parish of St. Mary's
It ran from Mill Lane to Jarrom Street.
Next one up to Grassmere Street. & Before Havelock Street.
But Outram Street is now under the Demontfort University....

Hello Mike,

Thankyou for all the xtra information.
It looks like John and Susannah may have been my Johns parents.
Going by the old fashioned naming patterns..Susannah may have been named after her grandmother.

I am not at all familiar with Leicester, in fact not at all familiar with any country except New Zealand.
But Outram street is interesting.
Perhaps I should look more into the history of Outrams for a while, might proove rather interesting.

Cheers Mike.

Helo again,
 May ask one more request.
Susannah Outram was born in Leicster in 1830 but then vanishes.
In the 1841 census she would be 11 or 12.

Is she listed in the 1841 census in Leicestershire somewhere as a lodger, servant etc.

Many thanks
