hello i have the info on what ship my relos came in on but how do i go about getting there birth certificates they where assisted immigrants

If you could supply names and dates and which country they were born in there are plenty of willing helpers here to advise you.

If your relatives married in Victoria after July 1853, then their parents will be named on the marriage certificate.   If they were already married when they arrived - if they had children here after July 1853 in Victoria then when and were they got married should be recorded on the birth certificate (but may only say England).  However you do get the their ages and birth places too.

If they were born overseas, then you have to get their marriage and birth certificates from overseas - they can be ordered on line directly from the General Register Office (England) once you have the official GRO reg number. If they came from Ireland or Scotland, then it is a different GRO  - and you have both Ireland and Northern Ireland - two different countries. 

I suggest you read some on line advice about family history research overseas - GENUKI is a good place to start, it will give you all the information you need, with links to the places you need to know about.

You need to supply as much information as possible as to parents names (and if from a death certificate as they are not a reliable source in all cases)

The link posted by Chorlton is a pay-per-view site, you can search for free but if you look a the results then you pay .99c per page. 
This is the same place where you can download  images BDM certificates for Victoria for $A17.50 - it costs a lot more to get a certified certificate by ordinary mail.

If you do not have a credit card, there are people here who have the indexes on cd at home, and are able to help with passing on the registration numbers needed.  And most libraries in Victoria with a family history section also have the indexes.
