John Lyon - Census Lookup

I am trying to find John Lyon (born 1866).  He married Elizabeth Atkinson, they were both from Wigan.  They had six children, two of which moved to Felling, Gateshead.  Any help in finding John would be greatly appreciated.
Wright, Hipkin, Howard, Lyon
Durham, Sunderland, Norfolk, Wigan

John Lyon 24 Coal Miner
Elizabeth 28 - wife
Margaret 1, dau.
No. 4 [back] Pool Street, Wigan

There are  a lot of them around, including another in Wigan but with a wife Mary and 2 years younger.
Southern or Southan [Hereford , Monmouthshire & Glos], Jenkins, Meredith and Morgan [Monmouthshire and Glos.], Murrill, Damary, Damry, Ray, Lawrence [all Middx. & London], Nethway from Kenn or Yatton. Also Riley and Lyons in South Africa and Riley from St. Helena.
