Hi

Re the Bpt of Ann Pym 1803 Belper.  This did not take place at St. Peter's Church, Belper this
Church was not built until 1825.  Can only assume that Ancestry have this listed as St. Peters Belper because this is the modern name for this parish.

The Bpt took place at St. Johns Belper, which was a Chaplry to Duffield.  There were only Bpt and burials at St. Johns marriages were in Duffield.  St. Johns was built C1250  google search will find images.

If you find the image of the Bpt on Ancestry, you will see at the bottom of your screen it is
image 73, however if you go to image 2 you will see that it states "Baptisms within the Chapelry of Belper".

Joseph Pym was born in 1782 died 1853 was Clerk to Belper poor law union, his son George and ancestors eventually became solicitors with an office at The Triangle Belper.

Hope this helps.

Hello,
If this offer is still open, I would be most obliged if you could find any more information on Eliza Buxton who was buried at St Thomas Church, Brampton.  The only information that I have found is the date of burial which was 15th December 1899, her age at death was 41 and that she lived in Brampton.  Her death was registered in Chesterfield (Vol 7b, page 443).
Thank you
John Buxton

Hi Spendlove,
I had discounted this family because although Richard Rhodes Buxton died in a mining accident in 1900, his widow was still alive at the time of the 1911 census.
But thanks for the information; it explains why I couldn't find them in that census.
Regards John

Hi John

Found the marriage for Eliza Bent, but no image the info is from FindMyPast and it is a transcript by Nottinghamshire Family History Society who have copyright.

So assume I am not allowed to give the info.

Can say they
married in Parish Church of the birth place she gives on 1881 Census

Hope this is the Eliza you were looking for.

Hello, wondering if anything can be found about a Thomas Fouke/Fauke/Fowke and/or his family, who was a substitute churchwarden representing Codnor and Loscoe, at the Church of St. Lawrence in Heanor for the year 1613, his presumed first wife Ana Fouke buried at that same church Aug. 8, 1616, and married to Dorothy Cham, again at that church, on Oct. 30, 1616, Thank You.
