I'll pass the salt-pot then....
The Oxfordshire one (weston-on-the green) is the only one I've ever come across

hello  all
thanks  for your  replies

I  have been  helping a  good  mate  trying  to  find where his ggf came from  and he rang  me  this  morning to  say  he  had contacted a  lady  in  NSW  but she wasn't  much  help  just thought  that  this  chap  who  may be related  was married  at a  place called western on  the green  which  was at the south  of  London

what  I  do  have from  certificate

was  William  reeves  allegedly  born  in 1859 at Bishops gate London  his  father is  listed as  William  reeves wharehouseman  and  his  mother is  listed as  Mary Ann ogier  I  have tried a few  posts  but  no  luck
he  first married  in Scotland in 1878  as  was an able seaman on  that certificate  and  when  he came to charters towers  in Qld. Australia  he  was listed as an  engine driver.

thanks  for any  help regards jenn
