  Was your grandmother ...Myfanwy Ellis b. 1895-1910 Pontypridd?  Her  fathers name John Ellis B?
 Her mother  name Alice Louisa Read b. Westbury Wiltshire 1873 d. 1947 at 59 Queen Street Pontypridd.
 Myfanwy  had a step brother William George Reed lived in Pontypridd. Have his info but looking for the Ellis family you may have my missing link..
