When was James born?
Who was his wife?

I have found a James b.c. 1834 Bitton Gloucester, wife Eliza - moved from Gloucester to Wilts then to Somerset

Could this be him??

This is another James  but living in Bitton
1841
Court laney Bitton Gloucester
John Jefferis 28 hatter
Elizabeth 28 hat trimmer
mary A 8
George 7
James 5
Eliza 2
Ruth 7mths
HO107 1944 71 37

This is the only james I can find with a John

The other one I found i thought might be him because he was b. Gloucester and moved to Somerset.

Can you tell me if you have your james on any census -then i can possibly work back from that for you ?

hi sht uz,
sorry i havent  found my james on any census but i would have thought he was pretty old in 1841 if he was still alive, his kids were wellington, james, john there is also a benjamin they originated from a farm in pucklechurch bristol and then moved somehow ending up in lower knowle farm. i am assuming that they were there in 41/51
sorry im not much help am i ? i have only just started this branch of the family so dont have much to go on. it seems they are related to us im just trying to find out how?

Can't locate Wellington on any other census
have found a Benjamin age 39 in 1851 ironmonger b. Pucklechurch but living with wife in Monmouth Wales

No sign of a james or Elizabeth old enough to be their parents
Do you have any other information?
When did they live at Lower Knowle Farm?
