thanks for the reply,
As I have recently made a trip to llanrwst ,to Scotland street etc,and went down the Penmachno valley,re a house my family lived in,
I am painting a picture, and I wanted to include the coat of arms in the picture----
It contains chapels, grave stones, slates and lovely scenery.
I cannot seem to find a picture of the flag or coat of arms.
they did not seem to be on the site.
It would be nice to be featured on theis website.
hope i can find it soon!!
Thanks

Oh a shame you can't find what you're looking for. I did have a bit of a google search and couldn't see anything online. All I can think is that perhaps you could contact a library in the area who may be able to assist you. Good luck with your painting - Llanrwst looks like a lovely place!

There is a book 'LLanrwst : the history of a market town' by Norman Tucker  isbn 1 84306 070 1 I bought this when I was there a couple of years ago, although it doesn't show a coat of arms.

Below is a photo of the Eagle Hotel

thanks, yes I have bought that book ,but as you say there is no coat of Arms in it which is a surprise.

I will enlarge your picture to see if the coat of Arms is under the Eagle.

And, while the Original Poster (Judmarg) will obviously thank you, she hasn't been online since June 2010?! ::)
