PALMERSTON BUILDINGS,ISLINGTON.
« on: Thursday 09 December 04 15:03 GMT (UK) »
Hello, My great grandmother, Alice Lowe was living at 50 Palmerston Buildings, City Garden Row, Islington in 1886. Can anyone tell me what these buildings looked like? Were they flats? I think they have gone now, I tried to find them some years ago without success. Thank you in anticipation. From Quester. :)

There are some descriptions of Palmerston Buildings here from around that period:

Hope that helps.

Hello Jonathan,
That's brilliant, thank you so much! :) Now I am going to look up Queen's Head street, Islington on the same site. From Quester.  :)

This post may be closed but I have ancestors who lived at 52 Palmerston Buildings in the 1881 census.
