1891 - Emily Rees born c.1845
« on: Sunday 02 September 07 15:48 BST (UK) »
Emily Rees was born about 1845 in Pembrey Carmarthenshire, daughter of John Hughes Rees.    Research suggests she  married L.G.H. de Terry, an English gentleman born in France but I have been unable to find the marriage.

I am trying to trace Emily in 1891, she might be Emily Rees, or  Emily de Terry and was possibly living at Cilymaenllwyd, Pwll.   I am not aware of any children.

Grateful for any help.

Gerry

Wozzle

Thanks for what you have found.  I would like to find Emily's marriage and I had the surname as 'de Terry' and 1891 says 'de ferry', so a new search is needed.

The house in Pembrey has several spellings, it is rich in Rees family history and Google finds it under  'Cilymaenllwyd'
