Hi,
 i have the records from another site that tells me my joseph edgar transfered from the border regiment to the coldstream guards around 1904 and stayed with them untill around 1919 ish,would there be any records kept to say what happened to people of the coldstream guards after they left the army,he was living around the wansworth area i think??
    any ideas or cemetery lists for that area??

Hi janjan

It can be very difficult to find information after 1901.  Do you know when/where he died a death cert would be a good starting point.
Do you know when/where/or who he married?

The army won't have kept any records of your man after he was discharged.

Have you got his Coldstreamers military record? They mostly survived the bombing in 1940 kept in different place.Ive got one of my reserchees records joined up in 1905 through ww1 do you know his Guards service number maybe they served together.
The records will cost around thirty quid.

Hi Everyone,
     i havent got a death certificate for joseph edgar the last i know of him is when he left the army(i think) in 1919, i got some army details from ancestry.he married in 1914 in wandsworth, 1 daughter(as far as i know)1915 wandsworth ,
        will keep chipping away at it thanks for help and advice
