Hello

I have noticed that there are a number of families on the 1861 census for North Shields that have Onghewall as the birthplace.  I know through my research that there were a number of families from Mayo in the area at the time.  Had you not said Antrim I would have said this was the parish of Oughaval aka Aughaval in Co. Mayo.  There is also a parish of Ougheval in Co. Laois.

Regards

Steve

All the other Irish entries seem to give counties, rather than townlands.
Coffey, Cummins [Rathfalla, Tipperary], Cummins [Skirke, Laois], Curran, Dillon [Clare], Fogarty [Garran, Laois/Tipp], Hughes, Keshan (Keeshan), Loughman [Harristown and Killadooley, Laois], Mallon [Armagh], Malone, Markham [Caherkine, Clare], McKeon(e) [Sligo/Kilkenny/Waterford], McNamara, Meagher, Prescott [Kilkenny/Waterford/Wexford?], Rafferty, Ryan, Sullivan, Tobin
