Hi I believe my great grand parents David & Davina Scott had a shop in the Double block.

My grandmother [their daughter] was Mary Rodger Scott.
I'm trying to find out if she was an only child or had siblings.

{Ayrshire - Logie, Muir.}
{Dumfries & Galloway - Blyth.}

Could anybody confirm if Alice Byers is in this photo.
She moved from Bowhill to Canada when she was young. but returned a few years later.
She married Peter Moyes and lived on Carden castle park.

Hi Mike

I have relations from Cardenden that are Byers.

My grandmother  Alice Byers moved to Canada at an early age but returned to Scotland a few years later.  She had the following siblings.

Allan Byers ( known as yank)
Ruth Byers (lives in Wolverhampton)
Anne Byers (airdrie)
Jeanette Byers (airdrie)
Margaret Byers (Norwich)
William Byers

Don't have many dob or many other details.  My grandmother Alice Byers married Peter Moyes and they lived in Cardenden for a while
