In the Trade Directory for 1825 there is listed a Robert Hankinson in Broad Street a Calico manufacturer, also listed is Hankinson's Buildings, near the height in Pendleton (part of Salford) as well as a Hankinson's Yard  also in Pendleton.

Ten years later there is listed a Robert Hankinson a beerseller living on Broad Street.

In 1843 there is George Hankinson Corn Dealer and Robert Hankinson who was keeping the Horse and Jockey Beerhouse on Broad Street.

Hankinson Street was not Far from St Thomas Church between Broad Street and Rossall Street.
Going to check family tree for that time to see if any of these match, These names are in family but i think they was common to the hankinson clan lol , thank you x

Hi Shaz,

It may be worth you looking at the Hankinson's you know for sure are yours and then check the Manchester/Salford Trade Directories going backward in date.

Here is a link to some free online resources, but if you are able to travel to Salford Museum that have an impressive collection of Trade Directories ;D

Sarah :)
