Frederick Knox & Sibling - Children of John & Ellen Knox

Hi

Can anyone unravel a puzzle for me, please.

John Knox and his 2nd wife Ellen (possibly Keague) were living at Chester Road, Rathmines/Rathgar East during the 1911 Census.  They had a son Frederick living with them but he was 35 at the time and working as a Clerk, so may never have married (or did he?)  However, it is stated that they had two children so I wonder what became of Frederick's sibling.

Does anyone know anything of this family - any snippet would be most welcome.  Better still, is there anyone out there related to this Frederick Knox or his sibling?

PS  I know John came from Fermanagh and his lst wife Elizabeth was a relative of mine.  She died young and I cannot trace any children....   However, I wonder if he had a child by his 1st wife.

Yes, I know where they married and the date, but cannot find where Elizabeth Knox was buried or more importantly, if there were any children born to this couple before Elizabeth died.

Although the couple married in Elizabeth's native parish church, they moved to another part of Ireland - but where?

Dear LH

From 1911 until 1929 a Mrs Knox is stated to be the householder in Thoms Directory!!
My next directory i.e. 1934 shows a different householder.

This time, you've highlighted the fact that we're following the "wrong" John Knox!

The John Knox (s/o William) we're looking for had married Elizabeth Warren in Co Clare on 5 April 1870.  She died and apparently he re-married somewhere on the east coast!  However, the John you provide info on, is described as a bachelor.....
