John PAISH & Ann BAKER - missing couple
« on: Saturday 26 January 08 17:57 GMT (UK) »
I have a John PAISH who married Ann BAKER sometime between 1800 - 1830. The marriage that fits nicely is in 1802 in Lambeth. This couple are named in the will of Ann's father John BAKER , a land surveyor who died in Eastleach Turville, Gloucestershire circa 1829 though it sounds that Ann was deceased as her father's money went to her son Charles Paish. I believe they are the couple who married in Lambeth in 1802 but I can't seem to find them before or after the marriage.
Has anyone any connections to this couple or perhaps have any information on them?

Hi
Have you tried tracing the son, Charles?     Finding his birth place might help.
Andrea

Hi Andrea,
Yes I've tried looking for Charles Paish but I haven't found one with the correct parents unfortunately. There's a possible he might have been baptised in a Non Conformist church as I know his Grandfather was a Baptist and there's a possible burial of his mother in one of the London Non Conformist cemeteries.
