Hi Jen,

I had a look at all the info you put on but I am still not sure if we have the same people or not.

In my family David Davies (m to Elizabeth) died sometime before 1861.  I found her on the 1861 census but not David.  Then Elizabeth died sometime before 1871 as by 1871 the younger children were in the care of their aunt and uncles.

The David Davies you have on the 1881 census is this the father David or the son b1859?

None of the other children's names are familiar, but other than my direct line which is through James b1849 I have little details of what happened to the other boys other than rumour.

The 1881 detail is for both Father and Son. They are both listed at the same address. So going by your information if that is the case then it cannot be the same family as your died prior to 1861.

 :-\ It was a long shot, but worth trying!  :D
