Plumber has fitted the new basin, and is currently fitting the toilet - now I only have to hack off three walls and pull a ceiling down so I can get the plasterer in and the plumber back to fit the new shower!

Hello - managed to get down the records office yesterday, but couldn't find anything I'm afraid. 

I think the problem is that unless an inquest was held into a death around that time, or the person concerned was of some social standing, there are very few death notices about.
