Inch Cross farm

Does anyone know if there is/was an Inchcross Farm roundabout Bathgate? My maternal grandparents possibly lived there. (Walker)

thanks for that. Looks like it must have been built over at some point.

Hello Mrs A

I've just come off the National Library for Scotland website and saved a .jpeg of a map section with Inchcross on it - from the Linlithgowshire map of 1854 to 1875 at:
http://www.nls.uk/maps/early/os_scotland_county_series_list.html

It's shown as being between Durhamtown and Whitburn.  Although it's only called Inchcross and not Inchross farm - it's the only one there, and in the same position as the current map?

You can either go online or pm me your e-mail address and I send you the snapshot  :O)

Regards,   Steve   :O)

I know you posted this sometime ago, did you have any luck finding information? This property was originally Inchcross Farm I believe. http://www2.housescape.org.uk/cgi-bin/full.pl?&tur1&&TUR1000419&&
I have been to view the property and there is an  aerial photo of the original farm with outbuildings etc. which have now all gone and have been replaced by modern buildings. I am in the process of finding out more about the history of the place as we are seriously considering buying it.

I'll have to ask my mum if she recognises it. Her grandparents would be Walker or Roonie

The walkers did live in this farm as my husband remembers going there with his father (a farmer ) in the early 60s he seems to remember the walkers selling it to Stuart melrose,
