Richard Eaton Colwich baptism

I am trying to find a baptism for a Richard Eaton. He must of been born approx 1720 as he married an Ann White 7/12 1741 in Lichfield Cathedral. All his 9 children were born in Colwich I am assuming that he was too. Could anyone marry in the cathedral or would he be of some importance? Any other Eaton's  pre 1750 in the area much appreiciated. Thankyou Wendy.
