Hi Eilleen

Thanks for that :)  that's actually very odd as on several of my other maps, that pond is labelled Swan Pool.  I don't think there's a hill ???

It looks a bit dry now http://www.flashearth.com/?lat=53.225351&lon=-0.568159&z=16.8&r=0&src=msa

The in and out of Hartsholme Lake is actually shown on your map as Prial Drain.  Of course, the waterworks were on the extreme edge of the map, where the drain meets the Witham.

Here's Boultham Baths, showing the "old pools" (Map c1960, the largest oblong is the actual pool)

and the Water Works on map c1928

No problem ;)

Notice on your old map how the road went through Boultham Park and out onto what is now Hall Drive.

Haw hill is in the second field from the bottom of Hartsholme drive, it has remnants of a roman kiln on top of it, and is roughly to the left of the "H" on your map
