you know, when you've eliminated the impossible .... etc.

.... the only other Albert E birth is in Chelsea, 1897 - he's with Mum and Grandma Eade in Kent in 1901, dad not there, but she's showing 'married' ... so this must be the marriage - interesting initials ...

Hi Newf

Yes, I had noticed that one and the marriage with the initials.

I remember thinking that it looked very possible but I was wary of jumping in with the first result that seemed to fit - especially being further away.

I have just been doing mad searches, you know, the usual Alberts with Albert fathers etc etc.  and I'm beginning to like the look of Lilly Eade.  I might take the chance and order the marriage certificate.

Thanks  :)
Jojo

worth a flutter I'd say ...

he's in Chelsea in 1891, a Servant of some sort - born Kilburn c1872 - happily with parents.

posible marriage of parents - was hoping for a  Hatton surname  :(

Marriages Jun 1866

LENTON  Edward     Marylebone  1a 1050    to  RICHES  Harriett

theres another Edward / Harriet combo in 1870, Kensington - but that would be after the oldest kid shown in 1891 ...

Great minds think alike  ;D - I looked for Edward Lenton marrying Harriet hoping for Hatton!

Will get the Eade/Lenton cert and see what it says.

Thanks for your help

prob better to get the 1871 Birth Cert and get both parents names anyway ?

the marriage cert will confirm father etc, but birth will confirm the Edw / Harriet marriage too ...  :)

according to the 1851 & 1841 cenus, and submitted IGI records, Edward's dad is a Charles and married an Ann Amor in 1821, Sarum, St Martins (Salisbury)  ... so no closer to 'Hatton' - if it was correctly shown ?
