William RANDALL bc 1870 - Lookup Please

Marriage certificate reads William Randall age 21 labourer resided East Ham Father's name Randall (Christian name not known deceased) father was a labourer.  William married Orrelley Florence Howell age 18 resided at East Ham , married 29 March 1891. I have a copy census form which he wrote out in 1911 which indicates he came from Arlesely (I'm not sure how to spell that) and it gives details his wife and family at that time. I am okay on all that happened to him after he left Arlesely I would love to find out his history before he left there and went to live in East/West Ham. I was told by email by Bedfordshire council that there may be something available regarding his birth and possible adoption but I would need to go to Bedford to find out.
