Anyone know which parish Johnstone by Lockerbie is/was in. Tried to find it on maps without success. Was it a tiny little place?

Found what i think is grandmothers birth 1864. Parents are right names but not sure if her age ties up. Want to find out more on census.

Which year would u suggest?

Hiya,

Johnstone is a parish in it's own right.

Check out this parish map...
http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/sct/DFS/parish_map.html

It is number 21.

Hope this helps,
Pam
