Approximate date please

I am hoping that somebody can say that this photograph is likely to be of somebody born in 1882.

There doesn't seem to be much that's dateable in this unfortunately...all we can see is a collar and it's out of focus...

Could we see a scan of the whole photo, please, including the outer corners. Also, if there's any printing or markings on the back could we have a scan of that as well. Doesn't have to be big.

Unfortunately that is, more or less, all there is.  It has been cut roughly into an oval shape (many moons ago!) and I just squared it off after scanning.  From what I recall it was a plain postcard type back but I will borrow it again to make sure.

Apart from the collar that China remarked on, there are horizontal tuckings across the top of the dress.

I wonder when these were in vogue?  I've got a photo of my grandmother taken mid-late 1880s but her's were vertical tuckings
