Hello Jayne, What a nice surprise to receive your post.
Would love to know if you have much information on George Dibbert and Frances Stringer, she was my Dads Aunt. I haven't been able to find a marriage for them, I have seen that he was married before when he lived in the North East.
My Grandfather was Frances's brother Charles Stringer, he left Liverpool in the early 1900s and came down to Plymouth, which is where I am.

I have information on Frances's parents George Stringer and Harriet Bradshaw  and am more then willing to share if you don't know about them.

Hi Maureen, wow, I didn't expect a response! I too can find no marriage between George Dibbert ( my great grandfather ) and Frances Stringer. I think he was married previously, in Yorkshire, so he may not have been divorced!
I will call my sister, also Maureen, as I'm sure she will know more!
I've just started researching on Ancestry.com, are you on there?
It's so lovely to find a relative!!
